It really hasn't occurred to me that I'm anywhere but at work at just another site. Today we took the afternoon and ventured out and seen some sights. We ended up checking out Tybee beach on Tybee island. It's just amazing to see the size of the ocean barges 
come into Savannah. We found ourselves at the Crab Shack for dinner where we dined outside alongside the docks and the marshes. Apparently the cats love this place because there were at least a half a dozen running around looking for scraps. Dinner was excellent, those cats have good taste. Outside as you wait for your table you can feed the gators for a small fee. The kids seemed to be having a ball feeding them. I now feel like I'm actually somewhere other than an apartment out of town. I still miss my family dearly and wish they were here to enjoy the sights with me.
I look forward to the possibility of taking my son to the ocean and maybe even go feed the gators. He would have a blast. I just have to keep focused on why and who I'm doing this for.

I'm glad to see you getting out a little... The cat 'n crab joint sounds fun and your apartment sounds appalling.
